Easter Offering:

Sunday, April 1st | This year’s Easter Offering will be dedicated to three organizations:

Habitat for Humanity:

Seeks to put God’s love into action, bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope. Centennial is part of Holy Hammers, a ministry of 15 churches that work with Habitat. The Habitat “partner families” put in sweat-equity hours, as well as paying their mortgage, in order to own their own home. Volunteers have always been gratified to help them achieve such a life-changing goal!

Local Food Shelves:

Keystone Community Services supports those in Ramsey County who need food assistance and other help. Along with their Foodmobile, crisis support and additional food programs, they work to strengthen our community by giving ample access to our neighbors in need. Ralph Reeder Food Shelf is a Community Education Program of the Mounds View Public School District. Their services are primarily available to low income families and individuals living in MV school district or Ramsey County who may find themselves in need of food.

FAIRVIEW SUPPORT PROGRAMS, Fairview Community Center, Roseville:

Fairview Refugee Program

Volunteers from Centennial teach Sewing, Knitting and Conversation skills to adult English Language students at the Fairview Community Center. Classes meet weekly and provide the opportunity for supportive, mentoring friendships with refugee students who are working hard to learn English and build a life in Minnesota. Additionally, through these classes, volunteers have discovered needs for basic items including beds, tables, chairs, lamps and more for families who had so little. These needs were met and this special support to students and their families continues.

Fairview Alternative High School

Centennial partners with FAHS to support students as they work to complete their high school graduation requirements. Due to unique and often challenging personal or family circumstances, students enrolled at FAHS are able to receive special assistance and supportive services. Centennial volunteers serve a bi-monthly "Breakfast of Champions" to students for academic goals achieved, as well as providing bus cards, food cards and snacks. In addition, Centennial Scholarships will be given to outstanding graduates at their Spring graduation ceremony to assist with further educational/training expenses.
