Music Ministries

ORGAN CONCERT

Bob and Jane Nienaber, along with several other TCAGO (Twin Cities American Guild of Organists) organists will be participating in  a free concert “March Madness!...?” Sunday, March 11 at 3:00 p.m. at Wayzata Community Church, 125 Wayzata Blvd. East. This is another program celebrating the 30th anniversary of “Pipedreams with Michael Barone”, heard weekly on National Public Radio. The concert will include some unusual organ music, things that you won’t hear in a typical recital. To quote Michael: “The repertoire is a bit ‘mad,’ wild and wacky even.” Bob and Jane will be playing two organ duets on the four-manual (keyboard) Hendrickson organ: “Ragtime” by Charles Callahan, and “Marche Militaire” by Franz Schubert.

There are many opportunities to be a part of the music ministry in praise and worship at Centennial. Check out a vocal choir, handbell choir, ensemble, or instrumental group. Come together to share your talents, make new friends, have fun and make a joyful noise to the Lord!

We have music opportunities for children and youth ages 4-18.  No prior experience is necessary and all are welcome to join, we will teach all who are interested. Our mission is to provide children and youth with an engaging and encouraging environment for musical, spiritual and personal growth through education, fellowship, and service.  Wednesday night rehearsals will begin September 15. Come join us—dinner will be provided for our kickoff rehearsal!  Any questions, see Jennifer Cadwell or call 612-408-9105.
